The Business Development Manager will design and execute customer acquisition and PR strategies to expand the client portfolio within the maritime sector. They will also manage key accounts, negotiate commercial contracts, and coordinate closely with operational teams to ensure service excellence.
Candidates must hold a degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field and possess several years of experience in commercial management or sales within the maritime industry. Strong negotiation skills, a structured analytical approach, and an established network in the shipping industry are essential.
Crewing has been a substantial part of Nordics services since the company was founded in 2006. Since 2016 it is an independent business unit of the Nordic Group with +90 vessels under management. Long-term experience in successful manning of Nordic and third-party vessels is a key element to provide transparent and high quality one-stop-solutions to each individual partner in the maritime sector. Our Network consists of +1.300 highly qualified and trained seafarers onboard our vessels at any given time. From offices in Hamburg, Odessa, Istanbul and Manila, Nordic offers a wide range of services and individual one-stop-solutions within the international maritime sector.
