The Senior Accountant manages day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, tax compliance, and inventory accounting. They oversee the month-end and year-end close processes while supervising accounting staff to ensure record integrity.
Requires 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong understanding of eCommerce environments and ERP systems. Candidates must have advanced Excel skills and be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.

THE POSITION
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end, year-end, payroll, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and transactional accounting activities. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant supervises accounting staff and maintains the integrity of accounting records while supporting continuous process improvements.
This role serves as the operational leader of the accounting function and works closely with the Assistant Controller and CFO to support financial reporting and business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
This is a remote position with occasional in-person meetings in Surrey; candidates should be able to attend these meetings as required.
