The Grant Manager is responsible for overseeing grant compliance, donor reporting, and internal communication to ensure high-quality programming. They work closely with the Development and Finance teams to manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess at least four years of experience in grant compliance, administration, or donor relations. Proficiency in office software and the ability to handle multiple deadlines are essential for this role.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Grant Manager will contribute to achieving high quality programming by ensuring effective grants management to include compliance requirements, reporting, and internal and external communication. Responsible for informing program and support teams of relevant donor compliance regulations and Native Forward Scholars Fund procedures, manages donor and other external reporting, and remains current on all grant revisions. Supports donor relations by ensuring effective channels of internal and external communications relating to grants are established and respected.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, plus four (4) years experience in grant compliance and/or administration, reporting, and donor relations.
Valid Driver’s License required. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee, occasionally, is required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must, occasionally, lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office setting, with a moderate noise level. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common. Travel will be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events.
