The Skip Tracer is responsible for locating bank and finance customers and vehicles subject to repossession by utilizing various databases and internet resources. They must maintain clear account documentation, coordinate with repossession agents, and handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve customer issues.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in skip tracing or automotive collections and possess strong computer and communication skills. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate tenacity in tracking accounts, and maintain compliance with FDCPA and collection laws.
