The Senior Buyer is responsible for planning and monitoring material movement through the production cycle while evaluating vendor reliability. They also manage costs, consolidate contracts, and develop new supply sources to ensure operational efficiency.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience along with at least 5 years of related professional experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in office productivity software are required, with CPIM or APICS certification preferred.
