The role involves testing and certifying electrical equipment to support FAA TSO, STC, and PMA activities. Responsibilities include authoring test plans, executing compliance programs, and designing equipment necessary for product testing.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in testing and certifying electrical equipment. Proficiency with electrical test equipment and familiarity with regulatory standards like RTCA DO-160 is highly desired.

As a Certification Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical support in the evaluation and testing of existing and emerging technologies, systems, and capabilities. You’ll be responsible for testing and certifying electrical equipment to support FAA TSO, STC and PMA activities and manage the entire testing process from project start to finish. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be adept in reviewing technical data and forms to ensure compliance with requirements, while providing top-notch customer service.
