  • Ensure all repairs follow OEM specifications, military standards, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate bench stock accountability and test equipment calibration requirements.
  • Support audits and compliance inspections through detailed technical recordkeeping.

Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Follow static protection procedures and safe handling of sensitive electronic devices.
  • Adhere to OSHA, environmental, and electrical safety protocols.
  • Maintain tool control and ensure proper storage of electronic components and hazardous materials.
  • Conduct quality checks to verify proper operation and safety of systems before returning equipment to service.

Technical Support & Collaboration

  • Assist senior technicians or engineers during complex troubleshooting efforts.
  • Provide guidance to junior technicians regarding diagnostic techniques and proper repair procedures.
  • Coordinate work with production control, supervisors, and supported units.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with electronic systems in a military, aviation, industrial, or DOD contractor environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic theory, analog/digital circuitry, troubleshooting techniques, and component-level repair.
  • Ability to use test equipment and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding of basic electricity, circuit analysis, and electro-mechanical integration.
  • Must meet physical requirements to work in shop or field environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military electronics background (e.g., Army 94-series, USAF avionics, Navy ET/AT).
  • Completion of formal electronics technical school or certification (e.g., CompTIA, IPC soldering, OEM equipment courses).
  • Experience with maintenance data systems such as GCSS-Army, MAXIMO, or NALCOMIS.
  • Prior experience in QA/QC or intermediate/DS-level maintenance.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
