The Sewing Operator is responsible for sewing protective firefighter garments using industrial machines in compliance with industry standards. This includes preparing machines, following job specifications, and meeting production goals.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and while 1-2 years of industrial sewing experience is preferred, no prior experience is necessary as training is provided. Candidates must be able to read English instructions and lift up to 30 lbs.

The Sewing Operator will work with heavier than normal materials (heavy duty fabric for firefighter gear) including leather.
