Description:
Share your skills and help us create the next generation of tennis and pickleball players! The ideal candidate possesses the ability to teach and demonstrate technique to both beginning and advanced level players of all ages. Must have an engaging personality and enjoy interacting with kids and adults. A positive and team focused attitude is essential. Previous coaching experience is required.
Skills, Qualities and Experience:
A passion for the game of tennis and pickleball
Desire for helping others learn
Positive coaching style and a fun and welcoming attitude that kids and adults respond to
The ability to lead and communicate effectively to groups of children and adults
Solid playing ability (3.5+ NTRP)
Fast paced and accurate ball feeding skills
The ability to work with a wide variety of skill levels with the focus on beginning through UTR 4.5
Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
A good understanding of classic and modern tennis fundamentals
A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun
A strong work-ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times
Certification through RSPA, USPTA, USPPR, or USTA Coaching Professional is preferred
NOTE: This position is required by law to submit to a consumer investigative report. Applicants are also subject to a TB screening, following a conditional offer of employment.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position starting at a minimum of 15 hours a week.
Weekday afternoon/evening (4-10p) + one weekend day (8:50am-2:40pm or 2:40-8:30pm) of availability is a must.
Schedule and number of hours assigned are subject to change according to the needs of the business and can vary seasonally or session by session.
Pay Range:
$26.50 - $43.00/hr
Site Operating Hours -
7am - 10pm, Daily
