Legendz is looking for a Marketing Data Engineer to own and evolve our marketing data infrastructure, tracking architecture, and reporting ecosystem.
Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring our acquisition, CRM, Product, and leadership teams have trusted, accurate, and actionable data to optimise player acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role that combines data engineering, marketing technology, analytics engineering, and business intelligence. You'll design and maintain the pipelines, tracking infrastructure, integrations, and reporting that power commercial decision-making across the business.
Working closely with Marketing, CRM, Product, Finance, Engineering, and our external analytics consultant, you'll play a key role in building a scalable, reliable, and data-driven organisation.
Own and maintain the company's marketing measurement framework.
Design, implement and maintain tracking across all digital properties.
Manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Server-side GTM (sGTM).
Manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Implement and optimise Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
Implement TikTok Pixel, Google Ads Conversion Tracking, and other advertising platform integrations.
Manage tracking across platforms including Snapchat, Reddit, X, and future acquisition channels.
Develop and maintain a scalable event taxonomy.
Own server-side tracking implementations.
Ensure cookie consent platforms integrate correctly with analytics tools.
Maintain reliable conversion tracking and attribution across all marketing channels.
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
Develop and optimise SQL for analytics and reporting.
Build and maintain data models that support scalable reporting.
Work with cloud data warehouses such as PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
Integrate internal and external data sources through APIs.
Support CRM integrations and marketing automation platforms.
Manage offline conversion imports into advertising platforms.
Develop and improve attribution models.
Define and enforce UTM standards across all marketing channels.
Monitor and improve data quality, integrity, and governance.
Build and maintain dashboards in Metabase.
Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
Produce funnel analysis and conversion reporting.
Build cohort analysis, retention reporting, LTV, and CAC models.
Analyse marketing ROI and campaign performance.
Deliver actionable insights into player behaviour and commercial performance.
Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, Product, Finance, and Operations to support strategic decision-making.
4+ years' experience as a Marketing Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar technical analytics role.
Expert SQL skills.
Strong experience with Google Analytics 4.
Strong experience with Google Tag Manager and Server-side GTM.
Hands-on experience implementing marketing pixels, Conversions API, and conversion tracking.
Experience working with cloud data warehouses.
Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with Metabase or similar BI platforms.
Strong understanding of attribution modelling and event tracking architecture.
Experience integrating APIs and multiple marketing data sources.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate technical challenges into business outcomes.

Knowledge of experimentation and A/B testing.
Experience within gaming, iGaming, social casino, sportsbook, or other high-volume consumer businesses.
