The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This includes performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and fabricating repair parts using machine shop equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. Preferred qualifications include an electrical certificate and experience with PLCs, robotics (ABB/Fanuc), and die casting or plastic injection.

Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors systems, and hydraulic systems or tools.

2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m., Monday - Thursday
Shift Differential: Second shift employees are eligible for a 20% shift differential on top of base pay.
Compensation
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $30.24 to $40.32. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

100% employee owned, Kurt Die Casting is a division of Kurt Manufacturing and located near Minneapolis, MN. Employees at our die casting facility can gain experience in multiple areas of manufacturing including aluminum and zinc die casting, CNC machining, automation, and quality control. We have over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space with the capacity and capability to service a diverse set of customers and industries. Kurt Die Casting features 20 CNC machining centers and 15 die casting machines ranging in size from 500 to 1,200 tons. Many of the castings we produce feature challenging designs that require secondary operations such as machining, finishing and assembly.
