Description
To manage and lead a secretarial and administration team to provide excellent secretarial and administrative support to both internal and external clients to ensure the smooth running of the firm.
About the role
Lead and manage the secretarial team to enable high performance
Allocate, delegate, and balance workloads in line with capability and capacity
Ensure appropriate cover, including holiday planning
Act as first point of contact for office and administrative matters
Attend and coordinate operational and service line meetings
Ensure efficient administrative processes and drive continuous improvement
Lead, manage, and support the administration team to ensure the efficient day‑to‑day running of the office/service line
Allocate and prioritise workloads, taking into account team members’ skills, experience, and capacity
Monitor service delivery to ensure administrative support meets the needs of internal and external clients
Liaise with partners, managers, and technical teams to support workflow planning and deadlines
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency
Support recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of administration staff
Maintaining and supporting facilities supervisor regarding landlords and tenants of buildings
