The Systems Engineer will perform requirements analysis and integration for complex multi-stakeholder projects, including the design of submarine subsystems. They will also contribute to bids, proposals, and engineering plans while overseeing subcontractor performance and change management processes.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of systems engineering experience and a post-secondary degree in engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in requirements management tools, MBSE software, and the ability to obtain a Canadian security clearance are required.

Kongsberg Geospatial is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our growing Ottawa office. This role is being brought on to support the 212 Alpha project which will focus on the design and development of a submarine for the international market, in addition to other large, multi-stakeholder programs where exposure to working with external customers and subcontractors will be essential. The successful candidate will possess a deep knowledge of design principles and engineering process. The systems engineer will have had experience with design and integration of various subsystems and has prepared or contributed to bids and proposals.
This is a hybrid position working out of our Ottawa, Ontario office with time spent in Norway in addition to occasional international travel.
The base salary range for this role is $89,000 - $130,000. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
