Responsible for procuring freight at profitable prices, securing qualified carriers, and managing the entire sales cycle to expand the customer base. The role also involves leading a team, providing daily customer updates, and ensuring high levels of customer service.
Preferred candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Business or Management and experience in dispatching and customer service. Thorough knowledge of fleet management, logistics, and budget oversight is required.
Description
SUMMARY: Managing a team and reporting directly to Customer Success Manager, this role will be responsible for procuring freight from customers at a profitable price. Build the acquired load by inputting the data into TMW with accurate information. Securing a profitable qualified carrier to move the freight legally and within the customer’s guidelines. Updating customer with daily progress reports, and complete the transaction after the freight has been delivered.
