The Medical Assistant provides compassionate pediatric patient care, including intake, vital signs collection, and assisting providers with examinations. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, administering immunizations, and ensuring clinic cleanliness and compliance.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma, a Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited school, and a current BLS certification. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required, with a preference for two years in an ambulatory clinic and bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Administrator and Supervisor, the Pediatrics Back Office- Medical Assistant is responsible for providing efficient and compassionate patient care within our medical facility. Working closely with healthcare professionals, this position will assist with clinical tasks, patient intake, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Pediatrics Back Office-Medical Assistant supports the provision of direct patient care within the regulatory scope of practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services.
