The Hospice Nurse Practitioner independently assesses patients to identify care needs and develops evidence-based physical, emotional, and spiritual care plans. They serve as a clinical resource for staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Master's in Nursing and hold valid California RN and NP licenses. At least 5 years of recent relevant experience and certifications in BLS are required.

Pay Range is $150,363.20 to $214,198.40 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
