Deliver interactive group training and one-to-one coaching to Early Years apprentices to help them achieve their qualifications. Responsibilities include assessing portfolios, teaching English and maths Functional Skills, and monitoring learner progress.
Requires at least two years of Early Years sector experience within the last three years and experience training adults or learners aged 16+. Candidates need a full driving licence and car, and must hold or be willing to obtain Level 3 Teaching and TAQA qualifications.

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in inspiring and supporting apprentices as they work towards their qualifications. From delivering dynamic training sessions to providing one-to-one coaching and assessment, you’ll be instrumental in guiding learners towards success.
✔ Deliver engaging and interactive group training sessions, including induction
✔ Support apprentices through one-to-one coaching and workplace visits
✔ Assess and provide feedback on apprentices’ portfolios
✔ Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2
✔ Monitor progress, set challenging targets, and help learners achieve their goals
✔ Maintain high levels of apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement
🔹 A background in Early Years with at least two years’ experience in the sector within the last three years
🔹 Experience delivering training to 16+ learners and adults
🔹 A passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices to reach their full potential
🔹 A Level 3 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
🔹 A TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
🔹 Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and engaging approach
As this is a peripatetic role, you’ll need a full driving licence and access to a car, as training will take place across employer locations.
