The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive orthopedic care in an ambulatory setting, including performing physicals, ordering diagnostic tests, and managing patient treatment plans. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and perform advanced procedures within their scope of practice.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree and possess National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. A valid BLS certification is also required for this position.
Responsibilities:
The advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) within the ambulatory setting works in collaboration with, and is an integral member of, a multidisciplinary health care team. The APP provides comprehensive care in the Orthopedics ambulatory practice.
