Maintain a safe and attractive campus environment through landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance. Assist with facility improvement projects and the removal of litter and debris.
Must possess a valid Indiana Driver's License and a High School Diploma. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying weather conditions, is required.
This part-time position will provide primary assistance with:
Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns throughout campus.
Weeding, mulching, watering, and maintain landscaped areas and flower beds.
Removing litter, debris, and other materials from campus grounds.
Additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have and be able to maintain a valid Indiana Driver's License and be able to be covered as a driver on Ivy Tech's Auto policy.
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Must be able to adhere to safety procedures to do physical risks and have a working knowledge of power landscape equipment .
Candidate must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn; have the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
$15/ hour Up to 28 hours a week

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, equipment, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
