El principal deber del Learning Assistant es colaborar permanentemente en el proceso de formación de nuestros estudiantes, para el logro de aprendizajes, centrándose en los ámbitos académicos y formativos. Así también, es el primer responsable para realizar los reemplazos docentes en caso de ausencia, en todos los ciclos y especialidades, siguiendo las indicaciones de Rectoría y/o Director de Ciclo que corresponda. Y en lo formativo, es la persona encargada de contribuir a desarrollar en los estudiantes valores, actitudes y hábitos, en concordancia con los objetivos del Proyecto Educativo del Colegio y el Reglamento Interno.

Key Responsibilities - Principales responsabilidades.
Realizar los reemplazos de clases en caso de ausencia docente, en todos los ciclos y especialidades, según lo determinado por dirección del ciclo y área académica
Actividades de docencia de aula o clases sistemáticas que consiste en la acción o exposición personal directa realizada en forma continua y sistemática por el docente, inserta dentro del proceso educativo.
Mantener al día los libros de clases, tutorías, talleres y en general la documentación de carácter oficial.
Asistir a los Consejos de Profesores y reuniones de tipo pedagógico, cultural u otras que tengan relación con el cargo que desempeña.
Participar en reuniones técnicas de equipo tendientes a revisar, evaluar y proponer mejoras a procesos y métodos de trabajo.
Asistir a los exámenes finales y cumplir las labores complementarias propias de su cargo, especialmente las fijadas por el Ministerio de Educación.
Preparar y asistir a reuniones de apoderados, las que se realizarán como mínimo cuatro veces durante el año (sí corresponde al reemplazo)
Colaborar con labores de Inspectoría y Formativas para todo el colegio.
Hacerse cargo de la logística y seguimiento de Talleres u otras responsabilidades similares, en caso de ser solicitado por el directivo correspondiente.
Evaluar el avance y logro del proceso educativo de los alumnos e informar sobre el desarrollo de las clases de reemplazo tanto a los docentes reemplazados como a los directivos correspondientes.
Resguardar que el alumnado se encuentre dentro del aula en las horas que corresponden a la realización de las clases.
Supervisar y acompañar a los estudiantes, velando por el orden y disciplina, de manera permanente en los momentos de inicio de jornada, término, clases, en cambios de hora, durante los recreos, el almuerzo, salidas pedagógicas, entre otros.
