Position OverviewThe Chief of Staff (CoS) of Navistar Financial Corporation is the CEO’s principal partner for strategy execution, governance, and cross-functional alignment across International® Financial The role enables the President and International Financial Management Team to run International Financial as a coherent system by turning strategy into clear priorities, supporting prioritization across brands and functions, simplifying governance, and making it clear what the organization should focus on and what can stop.
The CoS operates with a group-wide mandate, supporting the President in driving alignment across functions and overall mandates. The role serves as the central owner of governance rhythm, performance cadence, and strategic execution discipline on behalf of the President and other duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesStrategy Execution & Strategic Leadership
- Partner with International Financial management team to translate International Financial strategy into clear priorities, initiatives, and execution plans.
- Drive follow-up on strategic decisions and ensure consistent execution across brands and functions.
- Leads the strategy cycle and supports strategy development through structured analyses and initiatives.
- Provide structured insights on strategic risks, trade-offs, and execution gaps.
- Maintain light external intelligence on benchmarks, regulation, and industry trends.
Governance & Performance Cadence (Core Accountability)
- Plan, prepare, and ensure high-quality execution and follow-up of:
- International Financial Management Team meetings
- Strategy Days and MT offsites
- Ensure decision quality, clear mandates, documented outcomes, and disciplined follow-up.
- Ensures alignment, through governance and follow-up, that product development priorities are capability-based, outcome-driven, and coherent.
- Maintains and uses a consolidated view of strategic KPIs, execution status, and critical issues. Uses OKRs to align priorities, support learning, and inform decisions.
- Actively escalate deviations and execution risks to the President.
Cross-Functional & Cross-Brand Alignment
Act as the central integrator across Finance, Operations, Sales, Risk, IT/Digital, Human Resources, and other group functions.
- Resolve cross-functional priority conflicts and ensure alignment when interests compete.
- Ensure that International Financial business perspectives are applied consistently in analyses, proposals, and decisions.
Transformation & Delivery Oversight
Executive Support & Representation
- Support the President in agenda management, prioritization, and preparation for critical internal and external engagements.
- Represent the President in explicitly agreed forums or initiatives where continuity and alignment are required.
- Ensure consistent and clear executive communication in cooperation with Corporate Communications.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree and at least 13 years of strategic planning, business intelligence, project coordination or business analytics providing data-based strategic direction experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience

- Master's degree and at least 11 years of strategic planning, business intelligence, project coordination or business analytics providing data-based strategic direction experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience

- At least 16 years of strategic planning, business intelligence, project coordination or business analytics providing data-based strategic direction experience
