POSITION SUMMARY
Lead and coordinate the activities of test operators to ensure productivity and quality standards are consistently reached.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
- Assist supervisor in assigning specific jobs from the production load report to test operators.
- Ensure test operators follow Quality Documentation Manual procedures to effectively operate equipment and process components.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate team members to achieve work goals.
- Ensure the quality of work performed on shift through inspections, instruction, and coaching.
- Actively monitor and record data relating to productivity metrics of individual projects.
- Assist in training and developing new and existing team members.
- Troubleshoot equipment and setups as necessary.
- Assist with paperwork and report approvals for test operators.
- Serve as primary supervisor during absences or other periods as needed.
- Function as a test operator in short durations when directed by the shift supervisor.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education: Associate’s degree or technical degree in electronics or related field preferred. However, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
Experience: Two years of semiconductor industry experience preferred; prior supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
- Utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results.
- Ability to complete the following:
- Anticipate and resolve complex, non-routine problems.
- Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and drive corrective actions.
- Read and interpret technical documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Explicitly follow very specific, technical instructions.
