Requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and an active Maryland clinical license (LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW, etc.). Candidates must have at least three years of professional counseling experience, preferably with children or adolescents in a juvenile justice setting.

Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide behavioral health services to youth and young adults in a structured juvenile detention facility.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, individual therapy, group therapy, family engagement, treatment planning, and clinical documentation while collaborating with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team.
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. Work schedules are assigned based on the operational and staffing needs of the organization and the detention facility.

Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is a growing Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our multidisciplinary team provides high-quality psychotherapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, and medication management grounded in trauma-informed and client-centered care.
As part of our strategic expansion, ITS is extending mental health services throughout Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) centers across Maryland. This expansion reflects our mission to increase access to high-quality behavioral health care for justice-involved youth while creating meaningful opportunities for clinicians to contribute to systems-level impact, professional growth, and community-based change.
Innovative Therapeutic Services is a New Jersey State Contractor, which provides home-based Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers. The Department of Health, New Jersey Early Intervention System is required to make annual determinations on the county performance of provider agencies in meeting federal early intervention requirements in accordance with Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
