The Behavioral Health Technician provides basic care and ensures the safety and security of patients in a psychiatric unit. Responsibilities include conducting observations, reporting findings to the mental health team, and assisting with patient admissions and discharges.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate's degree is preferred. Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant healthcare or mental health experience and basic computer skills.
