ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking to hire a Technical Director for Industrial Solutions Development - Ignition in the Digital Transformation department at our offices in Bilbao or Madrid.

The duties to be performed include:

•    Developing technical solutions based on functional requirements.

•    Coordinating and leading the development team

•    Reviewing and approving code.

•    Collaborating with the solutions architect.

•    Interacting with the project manager

•    Technical management of the project.

•    Technical quality assurance

•    Promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

•    Supervising technical documentation.

•    Training and development of the team.

ABOUT YOU

Do not hesitate to apply if...

•    You have studied computer engineering, industrial electronics, or automation.

•    You have at least 5 years of experience in industrial software development and/or at least 2 years in technical leadership

•    You have experience in agile and traditional methodologies and are proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.

•    You have advanced knowledge of Git and CI/CD.

•   Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (Deseable)

•   Proficiency in Ignition Designer, Perspective, and Vision (Deseable)

•   Knowledge of Python (Jython), OPC UA, MQTT.

•   Integration with databases and external systems.

•    You have teamwork skills and technical rigor.

•    You have advanced English proficiency.

•    And above all... a strong desire to learn in an international company like IDOM.
