The officer is responsible for patrolling the SubTropolis complex to monitor safety hazards, enforce company policies, and respond to emergencies. They must also conduct routine infrastructure inspections and provide professional assistance to tenants and visitors.
Candidates must possess a valid Class A Armed Private Security Officer License from the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners and a valid driver's license. At least one year of experience as an armed security officer and the ability to pass a psychological evaluation are required.

Who we want:
We’re looking for a vigilant, responsible, and team-oriented Security Officer to join our SubTropolis-based security team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience as an armed security officer and brings strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and a calm, confident presence to the role. They are comfortable enforcing rules and local laws, responding to a range of incidents, and interacting professionally with tenants, employees, and the public. This person takes pride in upholding safety standards and protecting people, property, and reputation. They are reliable, self-disciplined, and prepared to act when needed—while maintaining the professional courtesy and ethical conduct that define Hunt Midwest Security.
What you’ll do:
As a Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in protecting the people, property, and operations of the World's Largest Underground Business Complex™, SubTropolis. You’ll patrol designated areas, enforce company policies and local laws, respond to emergencies, and serve as a visible, trusted presence for tenants, employees, and guests. From incident response to routine inspections, you’ll contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and operational readiness.
