The Apprentice Operator I is responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment to clear railroad derailments. This includes driving tractor-trailers, performing manual labor, and conducting equipment inspections in an emergency response environment.
Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL with no restrictions and a valid driver's license. The role requires the ability to work on-call 24/7, travel up to 50% of the time, and perform physically demanding tasks at heights.
