Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, 3.1 Housing and Outpatient Services.
We are seeking a PT skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a food service environment and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our clients’ expectations while adhering to dietary guidelines.
Hours will vary from early morning shifts through early evening and includes every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the nursing department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.
Serve Safe Certification.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and the ability to work within dietary guidelines is a plus.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: Minimum of one year’s experience in food service.

Patients learn about the Disease of Addiction and how to utilize the tools necessary to establish and maintain sobriety. Patients are involved in a therapeutic environment with intense programming seven days a week and stay overnight in our supportive housing options. Services include a complete Psycho Social Assessment, Detoxification, Intensive Inpatient Treatment, Partial Hospitalization, Supportive Housing, Group Counseling, Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, Psycho-Education Groups, Relapse Prevention, Vocation Counseling, and 12-Step Initiation, Peer Recovery Support, Therapeutic Drumming, and Yoga.
At Hudson Health Services, we offer several levels of care to meet your needs including detox and residential treatment, low-intensity residential treatment housing, and our Delaware Sober Living houses. We consider each individual’s situation and life circumstances before a personalized treatment plan is introduced and implemented.
