The Herdsperson is responsible for the daily health, care, and maintenance of pigs at a designated site. Duties include feeding, monitoring, breeding, administering medicine, and performing facility maintenance.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing for long periods. No previous experience with pigs is required, but a strong interest in animal care and self-development is essential.

Description: Reports to the Sow Farm Manager and is responsible for daily care, health and maintenance for all pigs at designated work site.
Hours: Generally - Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm; times may vary based on business needs
Rotating Weekend and Holiday Schedule Required.
Compensation: Hourly, competitive based on experience, quarterly bonuses, plus we offer an excellent benefits package
No previous experience working with pigs is required.
