Supports the daily operation, monitoring, and basic upkeep of critical facility utility systems such as chillers, boilers, and HVAC to enable 24/7 battery manufacturing. Responsibilities include performing routine checks, following SOPs, and maintaining 5S cleanliness standards.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a vocational certificate or associate degree preferred. Candidates should have 0-2 years of industrial experience and basic electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Summary:
The Facility Operator supports the daily operation, monitoring, inspection, basic upkeep, and cleaning of critical facility utility and environmental systems (chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air, HVAC, dust/fume collection, pumps, and related equipment) that enable continuous 24/7 battery manufacturing.
This entry-level role focuses on following standard operating procedures (SOPs), performing routine tasks, maintaining 5S standards, and assisting the utility crew. Operators will develop basic electrical awareness while working under close supervision to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
