The Warehouse Helper and Parts Runner is responsible for receiving, organizing, and delivering HVAC and plumbing materials to various job sites. They must maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the warehouse and company vehicles are kept clean and orderly.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices is required, along with the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
The Warehouse Helper & Parts Runner will be responsible for performing deliveries to multiple locations as needed, receiving deliveries, preparing job materials, and handling returns to vendors. The employee will be supporting various warehouse functions and performing duties as assigned for the needs of the business daily. The goal of every employee-owner on this team is to provide a 5-Star experience for customers and co-workers alike while practicing and promoting our mission statement and core values.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift equipment, tools, products, and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
