What You'll Be Doing
Job Summary: Generally responsible for performing construction coordination for small to moderate construction assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Knowledge and application of company engineering design and CAD drafting standards.
Good knowledge of construction safety requirements, with a commitment to a zero accidents environment. Ability to ensure contractor’s activities are planned and executed with safety first.
Coordinating Request for Information (RFI) from contractor’s, ensuring timely engineering responses and maintaining RFI logs.
Compiling building permit packages and submitting to permitting agencies.
Coordinating the review of submittals and maintaining logs of open submittals.
Assisting construction team(s) with assembling drawing packages for various phases of work.
Assisting the estimating team with miscellaneous estimate
Ability to manage client relationships in complex situations.
Ability to relate easily to others in the business community such as customers, suppliers, contractors, government, professional and trade associations.
Ability to handle stress with poise.
Understanding of existing and potential customer needs and preferences.
Ability to clearly communicate expectations and requirements to team members.
Ability to set priorities.
Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills.

Ideal Background
