  • Lead and supervise electrical installations for commercial EV charging systems.
  • Lead and mentor Junior and Senior Level EV Installers, providing guidance, technical support, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements, address any issues, and provide exceptional service.
    • Communicate with clients to coordinate start time and project schedule.
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project details, installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Document any punch list items needed, complete job close out reports to management daily on status of project, ensuring projects are on time and on budget.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by nurturing the growth and development of installation team members.
    • Must be responsive to emails and phone calls from crew and management
  • Promote a culture of safety within the installation teams, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of installation materials and equipment.

Technical & Electrical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Article 625 and other relevant NEC standards for EV charging installations.
  • Experience with 240V/208V circuits, wiring EVSE units to panels, and using torque tools per spec.
  • Skilled in EMT and PVC conduit installation; able to bend, mount, and seal per job specs.
  • Comfort working in energized panels (where permissible and following all safety protocols), installing breakers, and verifying load capacity.
  • Capable of installing compliant grounding systems for EVSE units and subpanels.
  • Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems
  • Use industry related hand tools and power tools.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc.
  • Install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
  • Terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
  • Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
  • Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members.
