The Project Manager will oversee short and long-term IT projects for the 616th Operations Center and 616th Air Communications Squadron. Responsibilities include creating integrated project plans, managing multidisciplinary teams, controlling budgets and schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience supporting Department of Defense programs. A current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a TS/SCI security clearance are required.
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Manager to manage and provide oversight on assigned 616th Operations Center (616 OC) and 616th Air Communications Squadron (ACOMS) short and long term IT projects. This position will be located in San Antonio, TX and will be an onsite position.
Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. Generally reports to a Program Manager.
