For over 60 years, we've helped facilities and plant maintenance professionals maintain HVAC systems, manufacturing equipment, power generation facilities, maritime operations, and other industrial applications around the world.

We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer who is just starting their career to join our Creative Team within the Marketing Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who enjoys bringing ideas to life across print, digital, photography, video, and emerging AI-powered creative tools.

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing compelling visual communications that support marketing initiatives across print, digital, web, email, social media, trade shows, and product launches. This role plays an important part in maintaining and evolving the visual identity of Goodway Technologies and its family of brands.

The ideal candidate has exceptional design skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and thrives in an environment where priorities can shift quickly. They enjoy collaborating with others, welcome constructive feedback, and take pride in producing polished, high-quality creative work.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio is required for consideration. 

Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.

Applicants should submit a portfolio showcasing a range of print and digital design work that demonstrates strong visual communication, typography, layout, brand execution, and attention to detail. Candidates with photography, video editing, motion graphics, or other multimedia experience are encouraged to include relevant samples.

Responsibilities

•    Design print marketing materials including brochures, flyers, product sheets, advertisements, trade show graphics, packaging, and promotional materials.

•    Design digital marketing assets including website graphics, landing pages, email campaigns, social media content, and digital advertisements.

•    Develop creative concepts that strengthen Goodway's brands while ensuring all work adheres to established brand guidelines.

•    Maintain visual consistency across multiple brands and product lines.

•    Collaborate with the Creative Team and Marketing Department on campaigns, product launches, product marketing initiatives, and corporate communications.

•    Prepare production-ready artwork for commercial printing and digital distribution.

•    Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

•    Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, including photography, illustrations, logos, and artwork.

•    Assist with in-house photography, photo editing, and image retouching.

•    Support video production through filming, editing, motion graphics, and creating short-form marketing content when needed.

•    Occasionally assist with basic copywriting, headline development, and content refinement.

•    Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required

•    Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

•    1-3 years of professional graphic design experience.

•    Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, branding, and print production.

•    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

•    Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

•    Strong communication and collaboration skills.

•    Ability to follow creative direction while contributing thoughtful, original ideas.

Technical Skills

Candidates should be proficient in:

•    Adobe Creative Cloud, with expert-level proficiency in:

o    Adobe InDesign

o    Adobe Illustrator

o    Adobe Photoshop

o    Adobe Acrobat

•    Comfortable exploring and leveraging AI-powered creative tools (including Adobe Firefly) to improve creative workflows while maintaining originality, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.

•    Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Teams.

•    Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects is a plus.

•    Photography, photo editing, and video editing experience are highly desirable.

Preferred

•    Experience creating marketing content for both print and digital platforms.

•    Experience shooting photography and video for marketing campaigns.

•    Basic copywriting or content creation experience.

•    Experience managing creative assets across multiple brands while maintaining brand consistency.

•    Experience in B2B marketing, manufacturing, industrial, or technical industries is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Stamford, Connecticut office and follows a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one remote workday per week, after meeting the initial 6 month waiting period.

Candidates should be able to reliably commute to our Stamford, CT office four days per week.

The role operates primarily in a professional office environment using standard office equipment, photography equipment, and professional creative software.
