Responsible for line changes, setups, and troubleshooting of extrusion machines to ensure efficient production and quality standards. Acts as a cell leader to lead and train other employees in extrusion functions.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6-8 years of plastic processing experience or a trade school certificate. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for eight hours per day.

Extrusion Process Technician “A” is responsible for line changes/setups, machine and tooling troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and tear down of all extrusion line and extrusion machines as applicable to insure a safe, clean, and efficient production environment, resulting in finished product that adheres to the quality standards of George Fischer IGA. The Extrusion Process Tech “A” is the cell leader with an understanding of all facets of the operation of extrusion and the capabilities to lead and train other employees in the functions of their respective positions in extrusion

Salary: Non-Exempt, $19.00 -$ 21.00 an hour
