Job Title: Lead Training and Development Advisor
Location: Bristol, UK
Onsite/Hybrid: Predominantly Office Based (some flexibility)
Salary Range: £30,000-£35,000

No two days are the same. From hosting training initiatives, designing digital learning and coordinating global training programmes to partnering with external providers and supporting organisational change, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of learning at Geoquip Marine while ensuring we continue to meet the highest standards of safety, compliance and professional development.
What you’ll do:
Lead the Training and Development team.
Design and deliver engaging learning and development programmes that support colleagues across our global business.
Partner with managers to identify training and development needs and create practical, effective learning solutions.
Manage and continuously improve our training and competency frameworks, ensuring compliance and high-quality learning experiences.
Evaluate the impact of training, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver innovative and cost-effective learning.
Champion digital learning and new approaches that make development accessible, engaging and relevant.
Provide expert advice on learning and development, helping to foster a culture of continuous learning across Geoquip Marine.

Who We’re Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is passionate about learning and development and enjoys helping others reach their potential. You'll bring:
A Learning and Development or HR qualification, ideally at Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in learning and development, training or competency management.
Experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions across a variety of formats.
A good understanding of safety and compliance training, ideally within a technical or operational environment.
Willing to travel and work onboard our vessels and across our business entities.

Geoquip Marine is a geotechnical data acquisition company safely delivering offshore geotechnical site investigations and engineering services to clients worldwide. Headquartered in Switzerland with offices and a geotechnical laboratory in the United Kingdom, we are a specialist offshore geotechnics service provider primarily focusing on heave compensated drilling, sampling and in-situ testing. Our in-house designed drill rigs operate in water depths from 10m to 3500m. Besides downhole sampling and testing, we also provide a number of seabed in-situ testing tools, including our 200kN (20 tonne) seabed Cone Penetration Testing (PCPT) systems capable of acquiring continuous data up to 50m below the seabed. We are at the forefront of deep water drilling developments for offshore geotechnical purposes, currently operating a 120t drill rig capable of handling 2500m of drill pipe and a 150t drill rig capable of handling 3500m of drill pipe. These spreads are capable of handling up to 6m of heave compensation and have a full suite of downhole geotechnical sampling and in situ testing tools.
