This position is responsible for compiling and maintaining material inventory to expedite movement between production areas. Duties include operating forklifts to move stock and verifying received parts for accuracy and damage.
A high school diploma and forklift experience with the ability to pass a certification test are required. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75lbs and possess strong detail-oriented problem-solving skills.

This position compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas.
Requirements
Since 1958, Galion LLC has been the build-to-print source for screw machine and related parts for the Automotive, Commercial, and Defense industries. Featuring an extensive range of equipment that includes: 100-plus single and multi-spindle acme screw machines, turning centers, centerless grinders, cold formers, and swiss CNC lathes, that can repeatedly hold tolerances as tight as .0002”. In addition, Galion has many in-house capabilities like tumbling, washing, phosphating, an electrostatic; climate controlled, paint process. Along with a dedicated Metrology Lab that performs destructive, non-destructive, and environmental testing as needed. All of which minimizes logistic costs, maintains our world-class quality, and reduces the need for outsourcing. Galion LLC is an AS9100D & ISO 9001:2015 certified establishment that is dedicated to delivering the highest level of quality to our customers. It’s our never-ending commitment that separates us from our competitors. Galion is a certified manufacturer of medium caliber ammunition parts for the U.S. Government’s Department of Defense.
