The Assistant Merchant I manages inbound samples and assists in product selection and development for catalog and web platforms. They are also responsible for analyzing merchandising KPIs and conducting competitive research to identify trends.
A bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising or a related field is required along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Merchant I will be responsible for managing samples and assisting in phases of product selection for their designated brand/product category. The Assistant Merchant I will play a part in the product development process by working alongside the Merchant/Senior Merchant. The Assistant Merchant I will also be responsible for pulling reports and analyzing merchandising KPIs for both catalog and web.
