Perform routine and non-routine repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure and manufacturing equipment. Document all predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.
Requires a high school diploma and either a trade school certificate, an associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, or at least 4 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be proficient in basic building trades and capable of meeting demanding physical requirements.
Overview:
We are currently looking for a Facility Technician to join our fast-paced facilities team at our Torrington, CT fuel cell manufacturing facility. This position will report directly to the Facilities Supervisor and will play a key role in our daily operational readiness as well as our continued operational efficiency and capacity evolution. The hours for this position are M-F 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
The Facility Technician is responsible for performing routine and non-routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and processes in support of our building infrastructure and manufacturing operations.
Education: HS Diploma or GED and Trade School or A.S. in Electro-Mechanical Technology program.
Experience: In lieu of A.S./Technical School, hands-on applicable experience (4 years minimum) in a manufacturing facilities environment will be considered.
