Assess and catalog regulatory and RTO/ISO registration and reporting obligations
Manage and maintain all regulatory logins and shared inboxes
Work closely with Asset Management, Development, Legal, O&M, Power Marketing, Interconnection, the Performance Team, and third-party stakeholders to manage LSbp’s regulatory compliance
Coordinate compliance with and maintain documentation of the operational and technical requirements of FERC, NERC, and Regional Reliability Entity obligations
Develop and maintain a comprehensive regulatory compliance calendar, training program, and training materials
Gather and review necessary information for new projects and collect site-specific data for internal documentation and reporting needs
Assist in document control and maintain the document library
Maintain knowledge of electric regulatory developments at FERC, NERC, Reliability Entities, EIA, DOE, and PUCs, and monitor operational developments and new or changing regulations
What You Bring
Knowledge
Sound knowledge of generation and transmission systems
Knowledge and understanding of the U.S. energy regulatory regime
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business, public policy, or energy, preferred; or demonstrated experience working in compliance
Experience
3–5 years of experience in a renewable energy-related field preferred, but not required
Ability to multitask in support of cross-functional requirements while meeting deadlines with accuracy and consistency
Proficiency in MS Office required; experience in data and workflow management and enterprise software platforms preferred
Detail-oriented with strong process and organization skills
Personal Qualities
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
