As a Venue Assistant at London Stadium, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of world-class food and beverage operations across one of the UK’s most iconic sporting and entertainment venues.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, clients, contractors, and operational teams, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of all food and beverage activities across matchdays, concerts, and major events. You will help ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, compliance, and commercial performance while upholding the high standards and reputation of Freemans Event Partners.
This role requires a highly organised, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced event environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to tens of thousands of guests attending world-class events.
Essential- Previous experience within hospitality, food and beverage, events, stadia, arenas, or large-scale venue operations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

- Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and compliance requirements within hospitality operations.

- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and event days.
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced stadium and event environment.
Desirable- Experience working within a major stadium, arena, sports venue, or large-scale events environment.
- Knowledge of EPOS systems, stock management platforms, and event reporting systems.
- Understanding of profit and loss reporting, stock control, and margin management.
- Personal Licence Holder qualification.
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification.
- Experience supporting large-scale sporting events, concerts, or live entertainment events.
- Experience supervising casual event staff or hospitality teams.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of concession, premium hospitality, and public catering operations.
- Support the planning and delivery of all food and beverage operations across London Stadium events, including sporting fixtures, concerts, and major entertainment events.
- Assist in delivering efficient and profitable F&B services while supporting financial targets and revenue growth initiatives.
- Ensure all catering outlets consistently reflect the professionalism and brand standards of Freemans Event Partners.
- Support stock control processes, ensuring adherence to approved product ranges, retail pricing structures, and margin protection measures.
- Assist with event reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate reporting and financial documentation is completed within agreed timescales.
- Complete event sales declarations and operational reporting following each event.
- Identify opportunities to improve guest experience, operational efficiency, revenue generation, and cost control.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to support venue growth initiatives, staff catering provisions, and additional F&B activations.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure service quality, availability, and value for money.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of casual and event-day staff.
- Promote a positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and leading by example.
- Assist the Venue Manager with event planning, staffing requirements, logistics, and operational readiness.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, licensing, and health & safety requirements are fully adhered to at all times.
- Support the management of outlet maintenance schedules and compliance inspections.
- Uphold all financial, operational, and administrative processes with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain consistently high standards of product quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Monitor guest feedback and customer satisfaction, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and guest experience across all events.
- Act as an ambassador for Freemans Event Partners, delivering a professional and welcoming experience for all clients, guests, and stakeholders attending London Stadium events.
