Trainee Bus Driver – Ammanford

£14.07 per hour while training, £14.50 per hour once qualified

(£27,795 per year while training, £28,652 per year once qualified)

No previous bus driving experience is required, we will support you through your PCV training and help you progress into a fully qualified driving role.  This is a permanent, full-time position offering guaranteed contracted hours and structured rota's.  You’ll receive full training, clear progression, and long-term job security within a well-established national transport operator.

The Role

You will be trained to operate local bus services, providing safe, reliable, and professional transport for passengers travelling to work, education, healthcare, and leisure.  This is a customer-facing role where safety, punctuality, and professionalism are essential. You will represent First Bus across your local area, delivering a consistent and dependable service.

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• Minimum age of 18
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible approach to shift work

No PCV licence is required, full training is provided.
