About the Role:
Are you passionate about data collection and analysis, measuring performance and continuous improvement? We're looking for a TDM to play a pivotal role in helping our Maintenance team deliver world-class performance across safety, quality, efficiency and training and development. Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager, you'll work alongside the Plant Maintenance Manager, the RDM, the Maintenance Coordinators and production, providing expert operational support, driving process improvements, and ensuring machines run smoothly every day.

The key priorities for the TDM role will be to strengthen the Maintenance KPI framework, develop and maintain the Maintenance skills matrix and training plan, improve PM compliance and PM effectiveness, standardize Maintenance documentation, support TPM and Autonomous Maintenance deployment, and drive data-based loss elimination initiatives across the plant.
Main Responsibilities:
You will become a trusted partner to the team, responsible for drafting the Maintenance budget and providing guidelines for the evaluation of economic impacts based on changes in the maintenance policies and /or the adoption of new Maintenance practices. You will be responsible for benchmarking, by performing comparative analysis of the outcomes of Maintenance methods to identify the areas of performance improvement and translating them into budget. You will also support in the validation of the maintenance budget, collaborating with the Head of Maintenance in validating the proposed budget through the analysis of the actual data on performance and Maintenance.
You will be responsible for defining the guidelines for the Maintenance methods and proposes to the Maintenance Manager and RDM to assess their feasibility and the expected benefits. You’ll play an important role in making critical analysis and reviewing the Maintenance manuals, maintaining documentation and ensuring that all documentation is up to date. An important part of this role involves analysing faults and collecting data required for analysis. Working in partnership with the Plant Maintenance Manager, the RDM, the Maintenance Coordinators and production, you will support with defining the areas of possible application (Auto-Maintenance (Operator Maintenance Activities)). In collaboration with the Maintenance team, you will define the methods of data collection and analysis necessary for the evaluation of Maintenance procedures.
As the TDM, you will contribute to planning intervention, developing medium-term plans and providing information for the preparation of plans for example shutdown period/preventative Maintenance etc. You will also be involved in planning scheduled stops, providing information about maintenance opportunities as a result of the data analysis e.g. PM’s.
Measuring performance will sit at the heart of your role, by collecting, processing and sharing Maintenance practices available in and outside the company to be used during work. You will support in the updating and archiving works to upgrade the competence of logs, manuals and reference documentation. You will play an important role in evaluating the maintenance suppliers.
At the Core of the TDM role lies training and development within the Maintenance department. Its not just part of the job, its the heartbeat that drives our success. You will be responsible for the preparation of material and delivering specific courses in various capacities necessary for Maintenance personnel and operators.
Continuous Improvement will sit at the heart of your role, you will identify on the basis of data analysis application, areas of continuous improvement to aspects of Maintenance. A key part of the TDM role is collecting and analyzing performance data of the plants and performing analyses necessary to improve the system of indicators. You will also define performance indicators (KPI) for the Maintenance department.
