Job Title: Admissions Specialist

Position Overview:
Family First Adolescent Services is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Admissions Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for families seeking care for their adolescents. This role is critical in guiding prospective clients through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Conduct initial screenings and gather necessary clinical and demographic information
• Educate families and referral partners on programs, services, and admissions criteria
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure appropriate placement
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate financial obligations clearly
• Maintain accurate records in CRM/EMR systems
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up throughout the admissions process
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in admissions, intake, or a related role in behavioral health or healthcare
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with CRM/EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Schedule:
Full-time; 2:00pm-10:00pm; weekends required
