ROLE OBJECTIVE:
To lead and manage day-to-day finance operations, drive budgeting and MIS reporting, ensure timely month-end closures, coordinate statutory compliance and audits, and manage key vendors while maintaining strong internal controls.
SCOPE:
- Execute day-to-day accounting activities.
- Prepare workings for budgeting and statutory filings.
- Support month-end closure activities.
- Prepare MIS inputs rather than final reports.
- Vendor Management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Accounting Operations
- Handle daily accounting including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, expense booking, and vendor ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries.
2. Budgeting & Planning Support:
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Support budget vs actual analysis
- Collate departmental budget inputs
- Track variances and highlight deviations
