The role involves receiving and registering food samples for chemical analysis using manual and electronic systems while ensuring full traceability. The technician is responsible for maintaining turnaround times, adhering to UKAS accreditation standards, and liaising with stakeholders regarding sample queries.
Candidates should have GCSE grade C or above in Maths, English, Chemistry, or Biology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Previous laboratory or production experience is considered an advantage, along with strong communication skills and a driven outlook.
The purpose of this role is to receive and register samples for Chemical analysis as specified by and in line with client requirements, ensuring smooth operation and flow of samples by following standard procedures currently in place.
