The Communications Manager is responsible for executing internal and external communication plans to promote company culture and brand reputation across North America. This includes managing communication channels, developing content for the intranet, and collaborating with global stakeholders and agency partners.
Candidates must have a university degree in Communication, PR, or Marketing and at least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global matrixed company. Proficiency in digital communication tools and superior writing and interpersonal skills are required.

Essity is looking for an experienced Communications Manager who will be responsible in helping tell the Essity story in North America. This takes shape by helping employees know and understand the company culture, our brand purpose, strategy and objectives and feel well-informed, engaged and proud to work for Essity. Additionally, you’ll contribute to our goal of increasing external awareness of Essity and manage Essity’s brand reputation in the markets where we have operations (offices and manufacturing sites), as well as support local business needs. We have approximately 3,500 employees and 22 offices and production facilities in North America, this is your audience!
You will execute internal and external communication plans and activities for Essity in North America. And most importantly, you’ll collaborate and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across various functions and business areas. And you’ll be part of our global communications network where you will share best practices and collaborate with other communicators from around the globe.
The ideal candidate should/could live in Philadelphia, PA.
