Manage and optimize routing for multiple service centers to improve delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs. Partner with General Managers and field leadership to implement data-driven improvements in driver productivity and route performance.
Requires 3+ years of experience in logistics or transportation planning with hands-on experience using routing software and ERP systems. Must possess strong data analysis skills and the ability to travel regularly to regional service centers.
Every delivery your team touches impacts customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and operational performance. In this role, you’ll directly shape how an entire region runs; using data, routing technology, and real-time decision making to ensure deliveries happen efficiently and reliably. Your work will translate into fewer delays, better resource use, and a smoother experience for both drivers and customers.
Within your first 90 days, you’ll have taken ownership of routing across one or more service centers, identified key inefficiencies in route performance, and implemented measurable improvements in metrics like route completion, miles per route, and driver productivity. You’ll also establish clear reporting dashboards and become a trusted partner to General Managers by providing data-driven recommendations they use to run their operations.
You’ll primarily work from an office setting while regularly visiting service centers to stay close to operations. Expect to adjust schedules occasionally during peak seasons or weather-related disruptions, when your decisions help keep deliveries on track.
