Built for Trauma Focused Clinicians Who Want More Autonomy

Ellie Mental Health is a W2 private practice platform built for clinicians who want autonomy, income growth, and ownership without the administrative burden of running their own practice.

We are seeking clinicians with experience or strong interest in trauma focused therapy, including EMDR, PTSD, anxiety, complex trauma, grief, attachment work, and related clinical concerns.

You won’t be handed a guaranteed schedule. You will build one.

You won’t manage billing, credentialing, rent, or overhead. We handle that.

You’ll have the flexibility to design your schedule, work hybrid with in person and remote options, and grow a trauma focused caseload that aligns with your clinical interests and professional goals.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

- W2 employment with no 1099 tax or private practice overhead burden
- Hybrid schedule flexibility
- Beautiful, fully furnished in person clinic space
- Administrative, billing, and credentialing support
- Performance based income growth potential
- Bonus opportunities tied to productivity
- Signing incentives may be available for experienced clinicians with an established professional presence or strong community relationships
- Supervision available for eligible limited license clinicians
- Ongoing case consultation support
- Medical insurance benefits available for eligible full time employees

We provide the infrastructure. You bring the ownership.

Who Thrives Here

Clinicians who:

- Have experience or training in trauma informed care, EMDR, PTSD, anxiety, grief, attachment, or complex trauma
- Want to build and maintain a recurring trauma focused caseload
- Support appropriate continuity of care through consistent scheduling when clinically indicated
- Develop relationships with aligned referral sources and community partners
- Value autonomy and performance based growth
- Want income growth potential tied to effort, consistency, and productivity

If you prefer a guaranteed caseload with minimal accountability, this may not be the right fit.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality therapy to clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, relational stress, or related concerns
- Use trauma informed and evidence informed approaches, including EMDR when clinically appropriate
- Complete timely documentation and treatment planning
- Maintain consistent recurring client schedules when clinically appropriate
- Coordinate care with outside providers and supports as needed
- Participate in team collaboration and case consultation
- Build professional visibility and community relationships

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Current Michigan license or limited license, such as LPC, LMSW, LMFT, LP, LLPC, LLMSW, or LLP
- EMDR training preferred
- EMDR certification is a plus
- Experience or strong interest in trauma focused therapy
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Comfort with hybrid work
- Established professional relationships or ethical caseload transition experience encouraged

Compensation and Professional Support

- Competitive compensation structure
- Bonus opportunities tied to performance
- Flexible schedule
- Hybrid work model
- Supervision for eligible limited license clinicians
- Case consultation support
- W2 stability without private practice overhead

Why Join Ellie

We are building clinics rooted in ownership, accountability, and access to care. We are not a therapy mill or corporate agency environment.

If you want autonomy, income growth, and the opportunity to build a meaningful trauma focused practice within a supportive W2 platform, we would love to connect.

Ellie Mental Health is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, height, weight, arrest record, or any other status protected by applicable law. Reasonable accommodations are available as required by law.

Flexible work from home options available.

Located in Briarwood Mall and expanding to West Stadium Ave coming November 2024! We vow to be really and truly different from other mental health providers. The mental health field presents barriers not just for clients and the community, but also for the helpers, therapists, and creatives who do this work. Ellie knew that if it wanted to be truly different, it would have to problem-solve barriers in the field at all levels. Our core values drive all that we do, and help us align with our “why”. We do what we do because it makes sense, and because of science, of course. An abundance of research says that taking intentional time to help your mental health increases your overall wellbeing and life satisfaction. Our services are an opportunity for your brain to take a break. A break that includes support from a professional secret keeper who will ride with you on your emotional journey and offer guidance along the way. Our core values ensure that all of our actions from the impactful connections between clients and therapists to the big business decisions align with our goal of providing innovative mental health services that fill a gap in our communities.
